Dr. Yoon is a board-licensed acupuncturist from three generations of doctors that run in his family. Earning different experiences from his family to his education in medicine, Dr. Yoon is an expert that combines Chinese Medicine and Western (Internal) Medicine. Dr. Yoon is committed to providing compassionate patient care. He firmly believes that the best treatment outcomes come from listening to the patient’s complaints and solving together to find the best treatment possible to address the complaint.

Gunshil Choi
DAOM, LA.c/ Dr. Choi
Dr. Choi is a board-licensed acupuncturist who has become infatuated with Chinese medicine. When Dr. Choi was a student, he flew from South Korea to China to study abroad. Dr. Choi later was submerged into the Chinese culture, which Dr. Choi became captivated by their language, food, and especially medicine. He devoted himself to practice Chinese Medicine to understand the different methods of treatment that Chinese medicine was capable of when treating patients. Dr. Choi is committed to providing care with other Chinese treatment methods such as fire cupping or tui-na. Plus, his fluency in Chinese breaks the barriers in communicating with Chinese patients who struggle with English.

Woojin Eom

Dr. Eom is a board-licensed acupuncturist passionate about Oriental Medicine. When Dr. Eom was young, his mother used to work in an acupuncture clinic, and his mother will create herbal medicine supplements that will help address the pain and other complaints of the patients. Dr. Eom watching the results of how patients will become better after the treatment and the herbal medicine finds it irresistible and embarks on his dream of becoming an acupuncturist. Dr. Eom cares very much for each patient. He devotes his knowledge and comforts to each patient. Because of his mother’s side, his specialty in herbal medicine helps to boost with acupuncture treatment.

Gunhee Sim

Dr. Gunhee Sim is a licensed acupuncturist dedicated to helping patients achieve balance and healing through Oriental medicine.
Her journey began while studying Global Studies at UC Santa Barbara, where study-abroad experiences in Taiwan and Hong-kong sparked her passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine. Inspired by these encounters, she pursued advanced training in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Dr. Sim is currently part of the clinical team at OC Family Acupuncture, where she specializes in women’s health, cosmetic acupuncture, and sports medicine. With a gentle and attentive approach, she strives to provide care that supports both the body’s natural healing process and each patient’s unique lifestyle.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Sim is actively pursuing her doctoral degree, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and growth in the field of Oriental medicine.
